A personal connection.

Online learning

Choose the work that matters

Start with what would
make school easier.

The question is what your student needs help doing. We can discuss the course, the routines around it or the test ahead before recommending a service.

Feel clearer about the material

Understand why an approach works and try it independently. Subject tutoring connects the current assignment to ideas your student can use in class, on a test and in later courses.

Subject tutoring

Take more ownership of the week

A dedicated coach helps your student plan, start and submit their own schoolwork. Practise routines with greater independence and less parent prompting as the goals. No diagnosis is required.

Executive functioning

Give test practice a purpose

Work toward an SAT or ACT goal with a plan based on the starting point and test date. An included diagnostic, taken separately if you begin prep, helps focus the teaching.

SAT & ACT prep

Keep a clear view of the learning.

A written plan sets the priorities, and session updates explain what your student practised and what comes next. If tutoring and executive functioning coaching are both useful, they are separate sessions, each billed at your chosen plan rate. Coaching is educational support, not clinical evaluation or psychological treatment.

The person matters

Connection matters,
including online.

Our team leads the conversation and matching; your proposed educator leads the sessions. Tell us what your student responds to, including any previous online support that did or did not work. You meet the proposed educator before the first session.

Before we recommend a match

Make sure the fit is practical, too.

Families beyond the Peninsula are welcome to inquire. We confirm the course, communication needs, educator availability and session setup before enrollment.

Their course and current work

Share the grade, course or curriculum and what has become difficult. A syllabus, assignment or recent test can help us check that the educator’s subject experience fits.

How they learn and communicate

Instruction is in English. Tell us what makes an explanation useful for your student, and share relevant learning differences, accommodations or school support plans.

Time for learning in the week

Share your time zone, possible session times and upcoming deadlines. We confirm availability with the proposed educator before agreeing on a schedule.

A setup your student can use

Discuss the device, connection and way your student will show paper or digital work. Tell us about distractions, access needs or help they may need to join and participate.

Inside a live online session

Learning happens
in the conversation.

Live sessions are 60 minutes. Your educator needs to see the work and hear how your student is approaching it, so the setup is part of the discussion before you begin.

Begin with the student’s work

Look at the assignment, practice question or planner together. Ask the student what they have tried and where they are unsure how to continue.

Explain, then let them try

The educator models a concept or planning step. Your student tries a related task and talks through the choices, giving the educator a way to check understanding.

Keep the next step clear

Choose what to practise or revisit next. The written update helps you stay informed while your student works toward doing more independently.

Practical questions

Questions about learning online

Can we work with you from outside the Peninsula?

Yes, when the course, English-language instruction, educator availability and time zone work for your family. Tell us where you are and what your student is studying so we can confirm a suitable match before enrollment.

Do you cover our curriculum?

Share the course name, level and any useful syllabus or assignments. We check the request against educator expertise before recommending a match, including how your course is taught and assessed.

Will a parent need to be present?

That depends on your student. Before starting, discuss whether they can join the call, open materials and ask for help, and who can assist if the connection fails. Agree what support is useful while leaving room for the student to work with their educator.

Who will teach the sessions?

Our team leads the introductory conversation and matching. Your matched educator teaches the tutoring, coaching or test-prep sessions. A written plan and session updates keep the priorities visible.

Is the introductory conversation the first paid session?

The introductory phone or video conversation is free, lasts 30 minutes and carries no obligation to enroll. Paid sessions last 60 minutes. If you begin SAT/ACT prep, a separate diagnostic is included to help shape the plan.
