How much does tutoring cost?
Tutoring engagements typically start at $100 per hour. Exact pricing depends on the subject, frequency, and whether sessions are in-person or online. We'll cover all the details during your free consultation.
What subjects do you offer?
We offer tutoring in math (pre-algebra through calculus and beyond), science (biology, chemistry, physics), English and writing, Spanish, humanities, computer science, SAT/ACT test prep, study skills coaching, and college admissions counseling.
How do you match students with tutors?
Our founder personally matches every student with a tutor based on subject expertise, teaching style, personality, and the student's specific needs. If it's not the right fit, we'll find someone better at no extra cost.
What does the first session look like?
The first session is a get-to-know-you meeting. Your tutor will assess where the student is, identify strengths and gaps, and build a plan for moving forward. Parents receive a recap after the session.
Do you offer online tutoring?
Yes. We offer in-person tutoring across Silicon Valley, fully online sessions, and hybrid arrangements. Many families use a mix depending on their schedule.
What if my student doesn't connect with their tutor?
We'll make a switch. The tutor-student relationship matters more than anything else. If the fit isn't right, tell us and we'll find a better match immediately.
How quickly will we see results?
Most families notice meaningful improvement within 4 to 6 weeks of consistent sessions. That said, every student is different, and we focus on building habits and understanding that lead to lasting gains, not just short-term score bumps.
