What Students Learn

Skills, Not Just Screen Time

Students walk away with real, transferable skills and a finished project they built themselves.

AI as a Building Tool

Learn to use AI the way professionals do: as a creative partner that accelerates your ideas.

Game Design Fundamentals

Understand how levels, mechanics, and player experience come together to make a game fun.

Real Coding Concepts

Pick up HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and programming logic by building something real, not through worksheets.

Problem-Solving with AI

Learn to break big problems into small ones, debug with AI assistance, and iterate on solutions.

Idea to Working Product

Experience the full journey from a blank screen to a finished, playable game you can share.

Creative Confidence

Build the belief that you can create real things with technology, not just consume them.

Who This Is For

Designed for Grades 7 Through 11

The Beginner

No coding experience? Perfect. Most students start here. The AI tools make it possible to build real games from day one.

The Gamer

Loves playing games and wants to understand how they work. This program channels that enthusiasm into making, not just playing.

The Builder

The student who's always creating things, from Minecraft worlds to art projects. This gives them professional tools to build with.

The Experienced Coder

Already knows some programming? Great. We customize the complexity so experienced students stay challenged.

Who's Behind This

Built by an Educator, Not a Tech Company

AI Game Studio was created by Aidan Rubio, the founder of Plato+. Aidan designed the curriculum, trains the instructors, and drops into sessions regularly. The program reflects the same philosophy behind all of Plato+: small groups, real mentorship, and meaningful projects.

What Parents Say

From Skeptical to Sold

[PARENT TESTIMONIAL PLACEHOLDER] I wasn't sure if this would be another screen-time activity, but my son built a real game in the first session. He's been showing it to everyone.

FAQ

Common Questions

No. Most students have never written a line of code. The AI tools handle the heavy lifting while students learn the concepts. We start from scratch and build up.
Real, playable games. Students choose their own game ideas (with guidance) and build them using professional AI coding tools. Past projects include arcade games, adventure games, and puzzle games.
Most coding programs teach syntax through exercises. We teach through building. Students use AI tools the way professional developers do, which means they can create much more ambitious projects than traditional beginner programs allow.
A laptop or desktop computer with a reliable internet connection. Chromebooks work fine. We handle all the software setup in the first session.
Full refund if you cancel before the second session. After that, we offer prorated refunds on a case-by-case basis.
Absolutely. We group students by experience level and customize the complexity of projects. Advanced students work on more ambitious games with more sophisticated mechanics.

Spots are limited to 6 students per group.
